Today's video partially came about by accident. I had every intention of visiting my usual Sunday #carbootsale haunts, but the weather dictated that I went further afield. Strangely, the weather on the opposite side of the Pennines was practically tropical by comparison, so I put together a loose plan to hit as many #bootsales as possible, to make the journey worthwhile, and boy-oh-boy was it a great idea.

I’ve been called duck, chuck, chick, petal, treacle, sugar, geezer, dude, fella, pal, marra and chap to name but a few. Regional dialect always makes me smile. I’ve never really taken it as condescending, but I guess context is everything. I have this annoying habit where I mimic accents and phrases of where I am in the country. Not sure why to be honest, but doing it with a bit of charm has saved me causing offence or getting a slap 😂😂

look at you coming over to my fav carboot nicking all the good stuff. good as well i was away on holiday,get back over them pennines were it rains alot, ha ha only joking dave, some nice pick up there mate,i always do ruffoth them wetherby then my scooter runs out of battery so i have to call it a day

That Pure Radio. I picked up the same one I think and it was covered in sort of a sticky substance, like yours haha. Something about them pure radios. Love radios!

I bought the exact same one at Rufforth for £2 a couple of weeks ago, it was pretty clean but the power lead had been chewed by a mouse ive cut chewed bit out and soldered it. Its now on ebay 🤫

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m from york and that attempt at the start of a Yorkshire accent was shocking 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but very funny. Anyway you may want to thinks about york racecourse carboot you get lots of sellers there especially on days like this i went today and got loads of good stuff to sell and Sunday’s there a good one in wiggington when the weather is good you get lots of sellers there. I usually stay local (Lancashire) on a weekend, because there’s quite a choice of boot sales over here. This particular vlog came about because weirdly, the weather in Lancashire was awful compared to the other side of the border. I did quite fancy doing it too though. Yorkshire is very good to me during the week.

Amazing as ever dave lol some advice please just got about 30 cds of a mate for 3 quid 😂😂 if you have DOUBBLE or tripple cds in an a case. can you get away with large letter I not sold any cds or media yet am just as you say winging it all 😂😂👍👍ty m8.. Rick
