@@SaffySprocket Many, many years ago I did a sidecar ride day. It was exhausting (I was in my 40s) but I always wanted to do it again, but never did. Same with track days. When speed is involved it's a whole new level of wanting to do it again, and fantastic for skills and awareness. The fast stuff is a great foil for the more serene touring habits 😃 It's early days for you, so you never know where your bike mojo will end up. In my old age, a scratch in the hills with my man is as much fun as a weeks-long solo touring trip. Never be afraid to broaden your riding experiences, even if it takes decades for it to happen. I'm over 60 but still get excited at the thought of the next long solo trip to see the grandkids. It helps that my bike likes to do the fun things whether she's fully loaded or not 😉 What I'm trying to say is that throughout your life opportunities will arise to try out different things, at any age or stage. If you can, grab them with both gloves 😁 I'm impressed with your enthusiasm and bravery to tackle the worst roads and win. May the keenness last til old age.

Excellent, that looked like fun. A mate won a prize to get doubled by Troy Bayliss (among many other people) at a round of the ASBK on an 1198 - he went that hard one of the passengers ripped off the handles attached to the tank filler used by the passengers. He didn't hold back, LOL. Be good to get on the back with Randy Mamola - he has a certain amount of crazy..

why not get the tank lid grip for pillions? that way the pillon is independent yet locked into position? pillion does not push into rider under braking or pull on acceleration, what are they $200? so worth it and much much safer allowing for more controllable riding and higher speeds and harder braking with increased lean angles giving you full effect... only way to go

That's great to see you enjoying but with an ex pro rider. That makes the difference although Michael wasn't pushing at all or doing some leaning angles. Next time, we are looking to see you ride it by yourself. With maximum throttle. It's going to be exciting. Your giggles were so genuine. Can't wait to see you there when MotoGP come. I want to see you do pillion ride again at the back of Fabio Quartararo, tell him to push & pull some wheelies. Let's go Saffy. Love that many women now is in love with bikes. 🥰

Honestly, I just don't have the skill to go that fast! I think it's very easy to forget I only got my licence 16 months ago with the amount I'm doing, but I'm still the equivalent of a 17 year old on a CBT :D

@@SaffySprocket Lol! Just joking. We just want to see you smile & feel the passion of riding fast bikes on the track. However, I saw how you ride in thr ABR Festival. You looked so pro very precise during the trail. I guess if you start to do track day & get tips to some of the ex-pro rider or people who do it. Im sure you'll get better, I can see the enthusiasm in you.👌 Looking forward to see your vlog again during the Gp weekend. I hope many fans turned up in the event because usually Brits are more of an fanatics. Plus, UK have no representative after Crutchlow retire. It would be more interesting to see you talk even a bit with some current Gp riders.

@@SaffySprocket honestly, from a more experienced rider - this attitude is amazing to see! Giggling, loving the experience (whatever the weather) and getting out there riding... all while knowing your own limits. Wanting to grow, but not too quickly, is exactly the right way to be! I grew up riding bikes off road, and I'm a high miler on the road. My 17yr old has been begging me since he was about 4 to get on my pillion seat. If he's lucky I might buy him some kit for his 18th.

What a shame there were no grab handles on the tank for the pillion, so a more aggressive ride would be safely possible !

I'm kinda jealous. I'd love to take friends around my track on my zx10r but they never allow pillions even if they are willing to sign a waver.
