If EA sports ever gets back into the NASCAR scene they need to make the game like NASCAR Thunder 04 and NASCAR 05. All those games needed was a little tweaking to the damage model and they would have been perfect.

EA had the best damage physics of all. These nascar games today the crashes are mediocre and the visual damage on the cars are unrealistic. It was more realistic when parts were torn and shredded and flying off the cars and you had debris on the tracks and cars gas tanks and engines literally blew up catching fire. Today they have cars in the game that hit the wall at 185mph and have minor damage or cars flip over six times flying 50 ft in the air and barely any damage.

You could do a updated version of this with alternative trailers and stuff like the NASCAR 21 Ignition trailer
