I just bought a 1997 single cab, 5speed, 225k, super clean, one owner Tacoma that was owned by an older gentleman. He was gonna sell it for 4000k!! Son in law said “ that’s way to low, let me sell it for ya”. He was asking $9500. Talk him down to $8000! Needs wheel bearings,power steering pump and some Bilstein 5100’s. Now if have an 04 LJ and a Taco.

I’ve got 318k miles on my 95 Tacoma 2rz, 2.4L, 2wd, Manual transmission extra cab, runs like a champ after all the love I put into it, wouldn’t take less than 6k to sell

Says Tacoma on the doors and the tailgate. 95 was the last year of the 22r.

I’m happy to have my dads 98 single cab 4x4. I get compliments and offers more often than any other car I’ve ever had. I have a newer Acura but cherish my Tacoma more.

I just bought a 95 Tacoma Extra cab v6 4x4 on the fly. Power windows and locks with factory sunroof. Interior is perfect except for one of the extra cab window locks. Runs great including 4x4 220k miles. California truck.

Thanks for the video Chad---I'm thinking about buying my dad's coworker's 95' Tacoma very similar to this but with a manual transmission. It has 260k miles, is in considerably good condition, the coworker is the original owner who did regular maintenance on it, and it has a camper shell. I currently have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab that's in pretty good condition; it has 160k miles, runs well, automatic transition, but a few of the dials on the dash (including the speedometer) are a bust. Do you think it'd be worth it if I sold my Silverado and bought the Tacoma?

I have a 95 tacoma with 77k miles. Runs like a champ. The harmonic balance was replaced and I just changed the old serpentine belt. It still had the original belt.

I have the same truck but no lift. has the 3rz engine made in japan and is the best engine i have owned.

They don't make em like they used to. The 95-2004 Tacoma were the best ever built. The 2008 and 2009 were also excellent minus the rust issues.

I had a standard cab 5 speed manual 4×4 2.7 brand new as a 1995.5. Best truck I ever owned . had it for 10 years sold it and wish I didn't .

I have a 1995 Tacoma 4x4 5 speed, manual lockers, electric windows, cruise control, AC works excellent, Original AM FM cassette radio V6, 31-10.50 R15 tires custom wheels and it only has 87000 original miles! Absolutely no rust. Garage kept for 25 years. What's a good price for this?

@@nickwilliams5437 I am going to keep the truck. Now that it's 25 years old they consider it vintage. I got a hold of Hagerty Insurance and they insured it for $20,000 because of the age and little mileage!

Too much. Sadly a lot of people are paying 9k+ and for those stupids we have to deal with this. They are good trucks but don't worth 9k.

They're worth as much as someone will pay for them. And for the amount of reliability (especially compared to modern vehicles) its worth it. Some people just sound upset they can't get one themselves

No I bought my 2003 regular cab 2 wheel drive 5 speed with 120,000 miles on it now that 6500 because it drives real good no four-wheel drive sloppy garbage two-wheel drive rear wheel so it don't slop around it's faster drives like a car pretty much you know. Especially 2.7 but still installing four-wheel-drive 12 raggedy and they drive like s*** I had plenty of them especially when they're beat on and worn-out two-wheel-drive sex drive better especially like the one that I just bought 6500
