A NEW Blow Dryer - Will it work? ~ Dutch Pour with Paint and WATER / Acrylic Pouring / Fluid Art
I have had so many people ask me about the blow dryer and if that is the issue for their dutch pour. I think that it is not so much the power of the dryer but the air condenser on the front, as well as the consistency of the paint. I am continuing to experiment with mixing brands of paint and using just paint and water. Hope you guys like the painting! I love the metallic in this one! It is so bright. Looking back now, i wish maybe i had left it after its first blow, it is so hard not to fiddle sometimes!

MOLLY'S ARTISTRY quick question. After your paint is dry do you do anything else to keep the shine ?

@@barbosborne1 I like the blowdryer because it coats evenly and it leaves just enough paint on the canvas. When I use a spatula, i tend to leave a lot of paint on the canvas and sometimes my painting koves around due to all the paint. It is not wrong to do by any means though.

@@nunabizness yes, I varnish with gloss or high gloss professional varnish. I use liqutex brand after the painting has cured

I bought this dryer about 8 months ago. Blew paint all over my mini blinds, so threw the dryer in a drawer and that's where it remained. But you've inspired me to get it out again!😁🤣 he he Gorgeous!

Just ordered my new hairdryer! I believe that it is the same as Rinske has....same wide mouth! All I need to do now is to learn how to aim the thing...my walls are already beautifully splattered! Happy Painting for sure!

Christened your new dryer! Add some alum foil to the attachment, and duck tape, making narrower opening, two openings, a dime size round, etc for results! Love your results.

Great painting Molly ...couple of questions if you don't mind.. I watched it twice and never heard the color of purple that was used... and I LOVE purple... and ...what do we do ...to NOT get the pinholes of white...TIA... keep being you... you are a breath of fresh air.

The purple was blue violet! The pin holes came from air bubbles in the white. Torch more or let the paints sit before painting

I’m an old hairdresser and the attachment is called a concentrator. It smooths the cuticle of the hair so you don’t blast the hair to fuzz. Blowing down in the direction of hair not straight at it. Maybe tilt the hair dryer more on its side so you blow paint out smoother instead of straight down?!

Wow, I LOVE IT! It made me think of a Hibiscus with it’s shape. The colours are stunning too. I’m so glad I found your videos as I love watching you work and how natural you are. Yes I destroyed my office/studio when blowing out a Dutch Pour. Got paint on every thing in the room. From the walls to my hardwood floors. All over me and my computer and keyboard Wood and glass display case. My designer curtains. My modem. My husband gave me a blower and I had no idea the power it was going to have. My desk and chair are trash now. I cleaned at it all Sunday, yesterday, and this morning. I'll be cleaning for a month. So... You just got off lucky girl. It could havebeen worse. XX Lol

Wow! That's beautiful - and yes, I was yelling "stop!" after the first blow, having decided after spoiling too many paintings that if I love it I stop there. The finished painting is beautiful though and I'd be very happy if I'd done that! Wish I had more wall space - and more money, of course, because I would buy this and Rinske's last painting.
