The face characters of Mei and Ming look fabulous!

The cynic in me wants to say that they only made that puppet musical as a way to reclaim the Steamboat Willie Micky design, but the theater- and puppet fan in me is just amazed by the craftsmanship. Also, I love the beanie on Goofy in Paris; it makes him look like a street artist. Banksy just got competition.

The Mickey and Minnie Sweetheart's Night outfits give me 1950s vibes [in the outfits, not the actual costumes thank goodness]. Also, the Palapalooza pink polka dot outfits are my favorites, but I'm biased as pink is my favorite color! The puppets from the Magic Box stage show look super cute! Dan, 2025 is going to be the anniversary of A Goofy Movie, Adventures Of The Gummi Bears, and The Black Cauldron and I hope we get some cool costumes. A Powerline walkaround would be a dream come true! And if they do bring Taran, Elionwy, and Gurgi back to the parks, I hope they get costume variants like the other characters do. Maybe we could get Cavin from Adventures Of The Gummi Bears, and he and Taran could comment on their similar looks. Seriously, the two look so similar you'd think they are related.

That bingbong costume is INSANE. The new costume characters have been really great recently.

The full design of LinaBell's little dragon outfit at Shanghai is even cuter! She's actually supposed to be in a fuzzy jumpsuit/overalls but they always put the girl Duffy Friends characters in skirts/dresses so the mascot got a dragon dress instead.

Finally! I went to a show before you hehehe. I've seen La caja mágica and it was gorgeous! It wasn't sure until I saw the puppets and i absolutely fell in love with them. The puppeteers, the actors, all was perfect and they have a huge Mickey's statue in the hall of the theater! It was super cool! I loved it ❤

I love the Mickey Mouse and friends puppets and the new Judy hopps head piece. Also, I’ve noticed by watching some Tiktoks from the new splash of color parade in Paris, that princess Tiana has a new outfit unless I’m mistaken again love this one so many cool and cute costumes ❤

As an argentinian, I was surprised to see you cover La Caja Mágica! I haven't seen it because I'm not sure about the jukebox musical aspect but the puppets look so cool! It was a very smart move to introduce a theater Disney show in Buenos Aires in the summer, since Disney On Ice is in the winter and Symphonic Disney concerts are beautiful but too expensive and not always comfortable for families with small kids. Awesome video! Can't believe there's been so many new costumes already!

I love this video. I have a question. Do you know how long Mei and Ming will be interacting with guests and doing meet and greets at Disney World? I am going there in May and I was sad that I couldn’t find any information on meet and greets with them. They are two of my favorite Pixar characters, and I would love to meet them when I go later this year. Also, if they are doing meet and greets, do you know the location of where they will be?

By the way, Dan, I can really see your enthusiasm of Duffy and Gang. You actually really should look into how Linabell is actually more powerful than Mickey Mouse in Disneyland Shanghai. As someone living in Asia, I've been to Shanghai, HK and Japan's Disney resorts many many times, and you would not believe the preferential treatment that Linabell has in China. It's to the point where she actually can boss Mickey around and there is footage out there of her literally laying paws on Mickey and physically fighting with him in public (playfully, of course) but only in China do they allow Linabell to smack the big boss mouse around. In addition, there is a very disturbing rabbit hole where there is a special in-park lore of Linabell and how the guest keep teasing her with KFC, and how she likes to lift her skirt at guests. This isn't a one-off thing either. This is a 100+ times thing. While Japan had to apologise last month for a Minnie Mouse accidental skirt flip, China's Linabell has made it part of her character. It's a very fascinating dive.

After seeing wicked in the set, I think you should do an evolution of Glinda and/or Elphaba from the MGM film through to the new wicked film coming out in November.

They gotta use the mickey puppet for some kind of Epic Mickey thing at the parks.
