I am a big fan of recipes. Once you knit or weave a recipe a time or two so that you understand it the horizon is limitless. You can add and subtract, shuffle and change. Great confidence builders.

Recipeeeeee! Also, wow, that anchor pattern would make my mom just squeal :) this makes me think about maybe a field of daisies pattern or maybe a big proud chicken... I better get cracking on acquiring that drawloom or I'm gonna implode

Indeed! Those are both great ideas - I had a whole file full of designs before I got my loom, too. It's never to early to start planning ;-)

I am not very familiar with brocade - but if I understand correctly it could be woven on a drawloom. Something I should research! Do you have experience in this area?
