I bet the nice kid is a writer on the show and came up with that skit. Fuckin' awesome! Anyone remember when amy poehler used to be a writer on conan and appeared every now and then in skits as Andy's kid sister? (this was back in the late 90s)

See the problem with this show was that he always took it one step further than any other late night show host would. which is awesome in a way that he's doing something new. but it sucks because if it isn't the status quo it won't last according to network producers.
