When I sold this trailer, I never thought I'd see it again, other than in some instagram posts. But now, all these years later, it's hooked to my truck again! Back when I had my heavy haul company in California, I custom ordered this ‪@bwsmanufacturing‬ trailer to exactly the specs I wanted, and waited many months for it to be built and delivered. I was an awesome trailer, and easily the handiest trailer I've ever pulled, but due to a change in my workload, I had to sell it and switch to a ‪@TrailKingIndustries‬ sliding axle to meet the contract requirements of one of my customers, which was also a great trailer.
So I sold the BWS trailer to someone up in Oregon in a land far away, not knowing that years later I'd move to the same town

Nice! I was very happy when the boss was going to buy a new trailer for trusses. I told him what would work best for us and he listened. After a few little add ons, it really worked perfectly for us. I was very happy with it and it did its job really well. So yes, when you know what you need for your job, it really makes sense to spec what will really work.

Nice to learn how and why trailers are designed the way they are. You did a great job with that one, but, know that it isn't perfect and you have the experience of time to make adjustments to a new trailer that you could have custom built.

From an engineer's perspective, I love the thought that went into this. This thing is built like a tank, and years later it's still holding up quite nicely. Would truly love to see you and BDS team up again and create Cascade Trailer 2.0 with you taking what you've learned over the years of hauling and combining new advances in materials and technology.

Very nice trailer setup. I have a buddy here in Ontario Canada that has a trailer built by the same company. His looks alot like yours but his uses hydraulic cyclinders to control the flip up deck front, the ramps and the beaver tail has the ability to raise to the flat position to create more deck space. Hes also got a low deck trailer that expands and contracts to carry a 53' semi box trailer without being over height. Its always amazing to see what everyone comes up with to haul different things.

I admire the thought that went into that trailer. Not nearly at the same scale as you, but I have a 7x12 utility trailer that I consider the best "Tool" I've ever bought. I've set it up to haul upto 14 kayaks, lumber, landscaping materials, compact tractors, firewood, yard and demo debris, appliances, mowers, ATV's/UTV's, etc. Multi-functional, and can be converted from one function to the next without any tools. The right trailer can be extremely useful.

The changes you had made to their design are certainly brilliant, especially for a young man. You bought your truck and started out younger than a most in this industry. If I remember correctly you had a grandfather that helped teach you a lot. I think I’m correct. I have built my own trailers but a lot smaller, made my own improvements. So this was very interesting to me.

One more important piece of equipment to get the job done safely and correctly. Looking over your yard while you're talking I was looking at the other equipment, each piece serves a purpose (or multiple purposes) and you do use all of them. I was wondering how many people you have blessed, helping them at no charge when they needed help so desperately. Then the folks you do paying jobs for, they know they can count on you to do a great job, correctly, safety and without damage. You truly deserve every piece of equipment you own. I pray safety and GOD'S best blessings on you and your precious family.

43' wow that's really short. I just sold my trail Eze TE80XT. L9ved that trailer. Long ramp for scissor lifts and 8°° load angle. Could load anything. With tri axle truck was permitted for 98 000 and got single trip for anything Over rhst. Hauled for united mostly. But equipt share pape all the rental companies in greater Portland Washington area. Even moved a lot of equipt for crane company. Couldn't dream of a smaller wagon. 48' was perfect. Especially when hauling rental gear. 43 wouldn't be long enough for multiple piece pick up. Anyway. Great trailer design. Like how everything was air instead of hydraulic. Kinda neat. Obviously now I'm running 1150 rotator for Ricky. The one you were going to deliver. Look forward to meeting and doing some things. Great Job.

I do know if I was your better half I would be on you for slowing down and not doing some of the tricks that you do no wonder your wife is probably going to turn gray in no time for the things that you do worrying about you but take it easy kid.
