So thankful I got to see them play last year in New Orleans with Rivers of Nihil and Between the Buried and Me! HELL of a show!

Brilliant band! Sad that Sal left last year - his voice is a defining albeit divisive part of their sound. Hope they'll continue in some form.

One of the most surprising bands for me. I love it. Actually this is one of the bands that made me really start to listen to proper jazz, properly.

Seeing TYS on the channel takes me back as I think they were the first band I commented about on and we chatted about. They're still probably my favorite modern prog-fusion band, and I really wish they'd release more music. Like others I was sad to hear about their vocalist leaving. I'm sure they'll figure something out as they're just too talented to give up. This is definitely one of their catchiest songs, and definitely one I've come back to several times outside the context of the album. Love how they blend complex musicianship with funky grooves and pop hooks. Just brilliant stuff.

What a fun song. Top notch musicians. They will figure something out without Sal, but it's a shame. He was such a fun lead singer that fit perfect for their style.

This band is great. The vocalist left the band late last year, the fans are really unsure what the future of the band is. Looking forward to this one. Edit: You fuckin nailed it, dude! I've been listening to these guys for almost 10 years, and I genuinely couldn't have said it better myself (especially considering I'm not a trumpeter). The link between lyrics and composition has always been a cool feature of their music. They don't do it in every song, but when they do it is used to great effect. The way the utilize ornamentation is just masterful. In my opinion, these guys are true champions of modern Jazz Fusion. While checking out some of your older vids, I watched the one of Bird Problems - The Harpist (great vid). While a very good song, I always wondered why that was the one people react to, when it's far from their most interesting song (in my opinion). They recently released a new 4 track EP, and they've only gotten better. I'd suggest doing a full EP reaction, it's just over 16 minutes from start to finish, a very digestible and focused listen. If you do, be sure to watch the playlist of it from the Bird Problems - Topic channel, those are the studio versions (they released videos for each of the four songs) or just listen on Spotify.
