Bent Knee is a great band that toured with Thank You Scientist. Definitely proggy and polyrhythmic but not as heavy as a lot of the stuff you do. Their guitarist Ben Levin puts out great vids here on KZfaq as well. For something heavier I highly suggest Their Dogs Were Astronauts. Get Up is a great song of theirs to look at. They also have one called Contortionist thats a more popular song of theirs, but im partial to the former because its deceptively upbeat and pop-ish.

Saw Bent Knee with Leprous and Haken. It was a great night of bands that are quite different, yet worked really well as a total package. Bent Knee has this chaotic energy around them, but in the way an explosion or an accident looks beautiful in slow motion. Not gonna mention that they play microtonal? I think that's their big selling point.

Any of the microtonal stuff would be cool to see on here. Billabong valley, rattlesnake or straws in the wind just off the top of my head

To my ears it sounds like a crossover between "The Mars Volta" and "Coheed and Cambria".

Hey man, you need to react to "Sikth - How May I Help You" - UK based band that were pioneers of 'Djent' - this song in particular aired on the MTV music channel and helped them come to prominence! They are all seriously amazing musicians....

You found Thank You Scientist, very cool! They've been one my favorites for some time now. I'll stick with my suggestion, Frost's "The Dividing Line". That being said, really just about anything from them is awesome.
