In This video we will look Astrophotography in the Giants Playground, the unique beauty of Quiver Trees, explore the abandoned diamond mines at Kolmanskop, look at my crazy ambitious astro shot using a drone to light up a lighthouse in Luderitz, discover the beauty of Deadvlei at sunrise, photograph the stunning rock formations of Spitzkoppe, ride the sand dunes at Beach Harbour, and finally go on safari in the Etosha National Park.

No, I had some but always in a hurry to fly. The photography was my main goal.

In the first image from your friend of the quiver tree and rocks, he used a wide angle zoom, but strangely for a landscape type of image, he used a quite moderate f-stop of 5.6. I can only presume he did not use a tripod as he should have in low light landscape photography? In my view, an f-stop of 11 or 16 would have been a better choice.
