Great Memorial Day message Mike! It's good to tell the stories and honor those who went to war and didn't make it back. It's hard to even imagine.

Hope your Memorial Day is as great as mine. Enjoying a pipe with a friend talking about back in the days. Our country is only great today because so many gave their lives for our freedom and liberty. 🇺🇸

Hope you had a great Memorial Day Mike. I always enjoy listening to your stories. I snickered to myself when I seen the tamper you were using. I use a piece of .500 S&W brass as a tamper when I'm in my truck, but it does have any significant meaning the way yours does. Take care my friend.

An action packed, edge of your seat movie for sure. 4,000 against 120. I believe that was Micheal Caine's first movie role as well.
@oldmanthingspipesАй бұрын
@@oldandintheway1955yep and Michael Caine watched a British military film before hand and watched where the officers kept their hands behind their backs. So Caine started to act the role with his hands kept behind his back. After the first week of filming Caine saw a message from the main producer to the director “fire that guy that doesn’t know how to move his arms”. Michael Caine was so worried but nothing more was said. Now Gary, rewatch the movie and tell me you can’t stop noticing Michael Caine never move his arms. Ha!!

Your family has a very extensive military history. I know of one of my uncles who died in WW2 and I'm sure there were some of family that served in WW1 but we don't have any proof.

What’s your frog and toad blend Mike? Would love to know. I’ve blended your Fisherman’s bottle and jarred that. I’m relatively a new smoker so I just began to blend a little bit and came up with my blend: Wild Mountain Honey (BCA & HS-3). Thank you for your tribute to the Vets!
@oldmanthingspipesАй бұрын
Hi Sean That’s so neat that you made my fisherman’s Dottle. What do you think of it?? My Frog and Toad blend is one of my sumner blends. 16 oz of lane black raspberry and 12 oz bag of smokers pride black cavadish. Now I will add your blend to my tobacco list next time I order. I have a shipment coming today so will be a few weeks before I make another order. Thanks again bc so much Mike
