In this episode of TFBTV, ‪@JamesReeves‬ is at the F.A.B. Defense booth to see the new A.M.P. pistol chassis. The A.M.P. chassis system fits almost any pistol with a rail by using interchangeable components that interface with the rail and the grip backstrap. The A.M.P. will also work with pistol slide mounted optics already installed on your handgun and zeroed, meaning that no additional purchase is required for an optic if you have one on your gun, but if you don't have the ability to mount an optic, you can also optionally mount one on the chassis, also. The adapters create a perfect, tight fit. Speaking as someone who has used it while fitted to a non Glock. The issue in the US will be the stock rather than brace.

DUDE... This is one of the coolest things I've seen. I want one for S&W systems. I want to be able to hold a 10mm on one leg and have the shell on the other with a quicker binding system so I can take out a grizzly by hand or by shoulder if I have to.

The flux is successful because it's small. If the chassis is the same size as a PCC, then get a PCC.

Yeah, nobody is going to file ef1 for multiple handguns just to use this stock chassis and vfg. Flux P320 being braced with a front mag holder is a much better product.

Dude, thats insane, for home, when you go to bed, you pop your concealed carry, and you have home defense mini rifle. Or if you have range pistol, hiking pistol in 10mm, 357 sig, load with 50-65gr ammo, and you have bullet flying 2300-2400fps from shoulder fire system. Does not seem to have smith and wesson adapters though.

Hopefully it works better than the $300 chassis bought for my sks. The polymer parts that mount the chassis to the weapon melted and it fell into pieces in 2 mags.

I'm not a stranger to FAB as I use some of their other products on my existing firearms. I like and I'm interested in the PDW concept I can fit in a regular backpack. Doing something like a CZ P10F, which will never have a chassis built for it might work well in this regard. I see nothing on FAB's US based website yet. I have my doubts from seeing this but I also know some of the quality that FAB gets right with time so I'm still interested enough to put down money on it and try. I currently have a glock 34 pdw setup, I'd like to see if this is on par or better.

Will this work with the Glock 20? I've been looking at the MCK, but I have never been excited about it's looks. Price and aesthetics are looking good with this, when the brace rules for California are final.

I prefer the recover tactical because it's smaller. All these pistol chassis make the pistol way too bulky to be a pdw. And most are made the same way. so quality isn't the defining difference.

i think chassis is better for guns with metal reciever....if the reciver is plastic, the part where the chassis is attached normally flex a bit

So, sense this comes with a stock, does that mean you'd need to SBR any pistol you install into it? It's cool and I'd be interested in getting one for my range pistol but not if a tax stamp is involved.

I also assumed, maybe wrongly, that when James asked about the potential for a braced version that there might have been a bit of a translation issue. It would be a bit odd not to see a braced version. That's a big market to miss out on.

i would say it depends on the action of the pistol, with a tilting barrel i doubt it. with a rotating barrel like a px4? probably yes

This is from IWA here in Europe. You dont need something like a brace here. Pistols with stocks are just fine and no problem.

Unless I am missing something, the enclosed rail should really on be installed if you want to mount optics/sights off the slide. Why reduce you FOV but using an optic within a closed rail system? I feel like the Recover Tactical chassis' address and are more modular than this unit.

Yes. I took a screenshot while being at their booth. Currently upcoming or finished are: Glock 17/19 Walther PDP/PPQ IWI Masada Sig 365 X Macro Taurus G3/G3c Small CZs are tested afaik... Sig P320 Bersa Ramon H&K VP9 (I wonder about the L and Match version) CZ P10C tested Glock 43X / 48 If you just have the regular VP9/FSP9 and want an adjustable stock you can also try a Triarii, but it won't fit with the longer versions.

He literally states in the video that the reason they designed it the way that they did is because in Israel you are only allowed a permit for a single pistol, so having a chassis that turns that into a multipurpose tool is very valuable.

My xmacro tacops actually fits the kpos 2 made for the g19, no part switching required. Pretty snug, not wobbly. Peace from israel!

Looks a lot less bulky than their RONI kits. Looks more functional than the Flux Defense. It would be an interesting comparison against the Recover Tactical.
