I stared up at the auspicious building before me. It has been years since i had been stolen away and kept away from who i really was. I had only learned the truth when Lady Arabella had recognised my birthmark and got the truth out of my mother on her deathbed. Mother! I should not even think of her as that anymore. Although i am sure she loved me in her way, i was little more than a bartering chip to her. To open up a life of nobility. But it was time to put all that behind me and reprise my rightful born role. For who was i and what was the palace to me? I was the lost Princess!
