I’ve now watched 3 episodes of this series. It is shocking how ignorant and condescending Paul Hollywood is. Why do a food show on Japan by comparing everything to the UK? How pathetic to think that a Michelin star ramen restaurant is just posh instant noodle. The other episodes continue to preach British superiority, so he’s then shocked when the Japanese actually know how to cook and BAKE. Has this guy ever left UK in his life?

The Japanese are known for taking it easy on the spices. They like to appreciate the natural flavors of the ingredients.
