Dimash is very disciplined. Gets up at 5 AM, practices voice for three hours, works with a vocal coach, stays physically fit by swimming and playing soccer with his crew, doesn't drink alcohol or do drugs, drinks only tepid liquids, no ice or hot drinks. Igor Kutroy says he's constantly singing or humming all day long. Everything Dimash does is in service to his voice and his art. He has been this way since he was a child. But he has a slightly devilish, teasing side and is very self-deprecating. When the gorgeous dancer from the Fly Away video gushed over him, he said that he pays her a lot of money to compliment him. He works hard and is very ambitious but doesn't take celebrity seriously. He says his family won't let him get "star sickness".

He won the Russian equivalent of the Grammy's for this ahead of 5 or 6 other singers who make their careers exclusively in the world of Opera. I think Dimash's vibrational energy pattern is substantially higher than most human beings. To be able to attract the perfect parents/family, perfect physical form/features and vocal structure, all the right people to support and collaborate with musically, to have a family and extended family and close deep friends all of whom are also very talented, disciplined and gifted musical and involved in his career from sound production to background singers, to arrangers and musicians....and to have the vast majority of everything work our very favorably....from being led to the perfect vocal teachers, to Dimash being able to take that training and apply it to his voice without injury which so many young singers who try to sing full and with wide ranges often end up with early on, etc. you have to be really vibrating at an extremely high level of positive conscious energy....

Dimash is an amazing person. What ever positive characteristics you want to think of, you'll find in Dimash. What you will not find in him at all is arrogance and other celebrity's entitlements. Actually, he's a big jokester! A lot of people who have worked with him have commented on it in interviews. Some videos are available also of him being lighthearted and fooling around. There's lots of reasons the Dears are crazy about him and his childlike (not childish) ways are part of it.

He is many things, studious, clearly, very polite, respectful, classy and very much a jokester. He also has a red belt in Taekwondo. Do there is a lot. Oh, and he also plays several instruments. He does all of this while working on his doctorate. There are interviews with Dimash. One thing that struck me is he knows who he is, what he believes and he does not back down from it. He stands on his principles and if the media ask him questions he does not want to answer he simply tells them that is his business which I absolutely love. He does it all with his feet on the ground refusing to take credit for his talents, thanking instead God, his grandparents, parents, teachers and fans. He is unique among artist in my opinion. I had the luck to meet him at the O2 in London, invited by a a long time friend, ans he had backstage passes, so we went after Arnau Concert, is the same that you just finish to comjent, only that this was in N.Y.C. He is the most funniest guy that yoy can't expect after a 2 hours show, non-stop, we had a great tijme after, joining a party with him, Karkov and his parents, and other people, and i had the chance to talk to for a while, (and some photos too, hehehehe), Dimash is so tall, and even that his daily training, he allways has time to his family, (you want to see how he treats his mum), and with his brothers and sister, as he said, he is a family man, and a great singer, humble, with his feet on the earth, and not a snobish as i meet other singers, and treats everybody as equals, for him, there are not diferences, a great human being, with a great heart and a enormeous talent.

From what I have observed in my years of following all scenes Dimash, he has a playful sense of humor and is kind and gentle, bordering on shy sometimes off stage. Unless you but heads with him on how the song should be arranged, then the tiger comes out.

@8:22, his mom said that he came home once in the winter and there was Dears that had been waiting in the freezing cold for hours and the flowers they had for him had died, his plane got in and he felt so bad for them that he invited them all back to his house to get warm and made them tea n everything and apologized for them and their flowers, etc!!! The dislikes are probably people that don’t like this kind of music. But Dimash sings all type of songs. They don’t know the training and the ability of what it takes to sing like this. The songs Dimash sings are really singing not the crap that’s out now! Sorry but that’s how it is with singers like Queen, etc.

In my opinion, this is one of the first three songs that new listeners should here from Dimash in order to be properly introduced to all that is Dimash. (SOS and Sinful Passion are the other two).

He and Igor are so funny and silly together. Igor wrote Olimpico, Stranger, Ave Maria, Your Love, I Miss You, Passione especially for Dimash. Plus Dimash has redone quite a few of Igor's older songs. Dimash speaks and can sing in 12 languages, he is from Kazakstan, so Kazakstan is his first language, Russian second, Chinese, French, English, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, he has been studying music since age 4 or 5 years old. He owns a Doctorat in music and in singing, he can play 7 instruments, of course, he composes and writes music. he is a very down-to-earth kind of guy, his family life is for him his base. If you have the chance to view his private official videos, you will see he is very funny, loving, and far from being without a whole lot of humor. Dimash is a casual guy, easy going and enjoy being silly, joking around when possible. He adore children, respect older ppl, a gentleman with the ladies and can hang out with the guys no problem. But don't be fooled by his good boy looks for he's into sports, extreme sports, and he like boxing and UFC fighting, and he have a red belt in taekwondo. He's a hard worker, he know when to be serious. Aside from being an artist, he's also a businessman and a student, working toward his PhD.

He has remained a fulltime student throughout the majority of his career and until now, his projects and performances were carefully scheduled in coordination with his studies. He is near to completion of his Doctorate in Musicology, his major in composition.

Dimash was a baby when he sang this--oh wait--he's still a baby lol. I tried to think of how he would top this and then he did it over, and over, and over. He hit D8 in concert. He held a high note for 20 seconds. He has produced so many songs it is astounding. He's sings in 12 languages. He plays 7 instruments. If you want to know more about him, there are many documentary videos and interviews in his YT channel. Those vids tell you about Dimash as an artist and as a person. Actually, I feel sad that those videos earned few views compared to the videos of his performances. Despite the fact that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, are expressing their love for Dimash, it appears to me that many DEARS are not interested to know about the artist and they only want to listen when he opens his mouth and sing.

It takes time to build up a fan base. The last 3 songs released are doing really well. I think 2022 is the break through year for DIMASH. I say this because COVID put a damper on DIMASH'S tour, as it did most artists. It is too bad he won't compete on AGT, not just because he said he will NEVER compete in a contest again, but because they allow children to compete against adults. And DIMASH WON'T COMPETE AGAINST MINORS. Also, Insanian, the Western & particularly the American Music Industry wouldn't want him competing against their contracted artists. Brilliant reaction as per usual. This is my favourite version although I have just seen one where he hovers in the air on a disc above an ice rink which was awesome. He definitely has a fun boyish side and there are loads of short videos showing what he gets up to.. It would actually be nice to see you react to one of those.
