A small detail from a revolver shooter: on the cylinder the "T" shaped indents are where the cylinder locks into the frame. Cylinders develop a polished band from rotating against the spring loaded pin in the frame. Just one of those little extra realism details. Thank you for making such fantastically entertaining content!

Fantastic build! Loved the whole section with the LEDs as I used to prototype LED pieces for a miniature rpg terrain company. One of the prototypes I originally created involved soldering wires to tiny neodymium magnets just like you have and discovered the same issue with demagnetizing due to heat. We eventually went with a socket system. One of the little tricks I used with ensuring magnets were aligned properly afterward is to use a marker to mark the faces that connected.

I love the light system you made for the bullets. To make it easier to get the magnets slightly protruding to make contact, model in a slight standoff in the discs to keep the magnets above the surface. You can sand the standoffs down once the magnets are set. Also could round them a little and put an indentation in the opposite plate to give them a mechanical key along with the magnetic fit. Another option would be to have the top contacts spring fit and just the 2 magnets to hold the plate down.

Dear Bill. I just wanted to say that Prop design and modification is one of my passions but I do not currently have the income to follow my dreams, So I love to watch your videos and live vicariously through you. You always seem to get that feeling like a kid in a candy shop and it totally shows through in your videos in such a way that gives me that same feeling. it's obvious that you love tinkering with props, and watching your videos I can feel that passion shining through with every scratch of sandpaper, every brushstroke, every little pat of rub and buff brings with it a sense of anticipation and a tremor of excitement. That is what makes you such an amazing content creator and always keeps me coming back for more, Sometimes I'll even watch the same video more than once and it never gets old. I always look so forward to getting to sit down and watch your videos. That High I get while watching you just makes my day, sometimes even my whole month.

I love that this includes a spring for the trigger. I know some conventions don't like you to have gun props with moving triggers through even if the weapon doesn't fire, so it might be an issue if you use it as a cosplay replica, but great for just flexing at home.

Awesome job! One of my favorites. Just a helpful tip from a woodworker, the next time you make a sword/knife/handgun grip, you might find that if you cut the wood so that the grain runs vertically (aka along the length of the grip) instead of horizontally you might find that it is more esthetically pleasing (but also stronger if it were a real firearm/weapon). Thanks for the vid,

This is my dream prop. I've had the belt for years. I'll have to save and try and get one of those kits.

That's awesome! I'm not sure if this specific kit is available anymore but I'm sure there are other great ones out there!

My dream prop kit would be the Ma'Tok from Stargate, with opening/closing end and sounds and LED's for effects. Great work on your builds. I love watching them and learning different techniques that I might finally use one day. :)

My dream prop or kit would be the M41A pulse rifle from Aliens. And I absolutely love the lighting engineering on the bullets. Well done!

When soldering to magnets or any nickel coated parts, you can either sand them or use special soldering acid that will rough up the surface and allow for more secure connection and easier soldering.

I would have to say this is one of my favorite videos on your channel. My dream prop to make and perfect is the First Blade and the demon Blade from Supernatural. 3D printed and used some of your weathering techniques on a test First Blade but didnt take my time and make it look pretty before I painted it so will have to do another one.
