You've become my favorite 40k storysmith, the Lamenters stories tore me apart and these build me up again through absolute joy and laughter (without losing that grimdark 40k feel). same here! I think it's because we very rarely get ANYTHING where Humans and Xenos co-operated at all, let alone have a working relationship. So unique and refreshing for the Grim Dark Future. I wonder if we'll see a story of this group visiting an Ork settlement for suplies or something and Gorgax has to take the lead... the possibilities! LOVE IT!

@@archaelusthorne5228 maybe someday, which I would certainly enjoy since there isn't a lot of Ork centered literature out there beyond a couple of novels that I know of but I'm pretty sure right now they are going to another oomie battle. In a broader thought on the subject I'm pretty sure that the official universe of 40k has some big changes coming up and suspect that the Imperium is going to have to end up teaming up with several xenos races in order to prevent the forces of chaos actually finally taking over so I expect some new official stories along those lines.

Perhaps if the current 4 Chaos overlords' powers are diminished we'll see a surge in other chaotic powers rising... I dunno.. one can dream :D but yes, we desperately need more exotic/xeno perspectives fleshed out

Luis is definitely a valuable member of Clintus's crew, in his own way. Always love to see how these three interact, delightful writing. Fantastic as always, Vox! I can only hope that we get more stories featuring the trio from Mr. Duxbury in the future, to be narrated here of course.

I love two aspects of this story: 1. The testimony of the three make sense from each of their perspectives, and none of them have the whole picture. 2. The Inquisitor is genuinely curious about how to detect Genestealers and tries to get as much information as he can. He's a puritan but he's willing to talk to an Ork to get the information he needs.

I just found these stories today and have been binge listening to them. I am totally blind (using a screenreader to read/write online), and I really appreciate high quality audio with an engaging narrative, and these stories have more than surpassed my expectations. Not only that, but I'm dealing with an anxiety attack at present, and these have been an incredibly useful way to not only distract myself from stress, but genuinely also they have got me smiling and laughing and feeling a lot better.
