A 1. This is not a scary movie at all. The creatures are easy to kill, easy to fool, and they make no sense overall. Why do they attack humans? They don't seem to want to eat them.

@@Anons687It's been such a long time since I've seen this movie, I don't remember everything, but, one point, specifically, is when Regan goes off by herself to that train to do whateverthefuck against what she was told to do. Her brother is constantly being useless, except for the very end where he gets to have his hero moment and it's supposed to be moving, but literally all he does is shoot one monster. He's told to put the towel in place before he closes the door to the thing they're hiding in but completely forgets to do that one thing the moment he's by himself. I'm so sorry for this dissertation, but I don't like kids in movies existing as antiheroes or byronic heroes.

They tried this, even nukes couldn't kill the aliens when they're armor was full engaged. its explained the reason they are beginning to be able to kill the aliens is that that specific frequency causes a resonance effect in their domed plates skulls, effectively forcing them to open their armor and expose a vital part of their brain that IS sensitive to conventional weaponry

No, their hearing is sensitive, yes. But they dont have human ears. they evolved this sensitive hearing because their planet had very little if any light, not because it was quiet. They likely encountered a similiar or higher range of volumes to earth as they evolved. So their tolerance for loud sounds, at least low frequency ones, would be greater than that of a human.

This family took very specific precautions to seal the baby away in a soundproofed cellar in the first movie to avoid this issue. That’s why they had the oxygen mask available, they’d also made a sealed baby carrier - it would be fully soundproof but the baby wouldn’t be able to breathe and would wear an oxygen mask inside. They rigged that up while she was pregnant for when the baby would need to be transported.

And if you read the newspaper, military tried to fight back this monster ,but they unable to do it because all military weapon can't kill this human even they drop a fucking nuke on them ,they still alive.not to mention this monster can pierce through solid steel if they want. I mean I get it sometime this monster doesn't show their feat in certain part of film to increase tension but I just read the lore of this monster to know how dangerous they are if plot armour doesn't exist

if you heard an extremely loud and irritating sound your instincts would make you cover both of your ears, think about it like that for the creatures

High frequencies are far harder to tell the exact location of because the sound waves bounce off so many locations so fast that it sounds like it's coming from all around you. And they likely haven't dealt with those frequencies ever so they have no defense or way to counter or even process it.

Bro it’s weakness is a very certain frequency of sound, because they have very good hearing, so it’s also their weakness, and when that happens, their armoured plates separate, so you can kill them😊

First of all, it has to be just the right frequency to be effective. Second of all, these things invaded and ran rampant destroying and killing stuff INSTANTLY. People would be panicking and trying to kill them with gun, bombs, and tanks which we know doesn't do crap to the Death Angel's and most people would be whiped out before they had any chance to learn about the aliens biology!
