Sequel to the successful "Venom", in which the eponymous symbiote and his host Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) have to deal with the serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), who turns into the bloodthirsty Carnage after also coming into contact with an alien life form. Kasady already appeared in the credits scene of "Venom," where he was in jail, but warned that there would be slaughter after his escape. In the comics, Kasady infects himself with the Carnage symbiote during his outbreak. Moreover, the villain Frances Barrison alias Shriek (Naomie Harris) is also said to be involved. Thus, Venom will be facing two opponents at once...

One thing I didn't really like about this. Is what was pointed out that Carnage and Cletus Kasady are not symbiotic. In the comics they actually are because they are both Chaotic and Psychotic too the point where they are ideal for each other.

They decided to flip that and turned Carnage from a continuous, massive threat to a one-and-done villain.

The venom movies are a guilty pleasure for me honestly, I’ve got no idea why but I’m just fascinated with them and how although they have so much expectation and so much pressure put on them to be one thing they don’t care, they’re not here to tell something meaningful or try to be something bigger or more important then it really is, it’s just unapologetically fun that just wants to give people something fun to go through without needing them to be analysing it I know it can seem like missed potential but considering just how many stories of venom already exists it’s kinda refreshing to see one that’s so unapologetically its own thing and not pretending to be something that it isn’t

If people are watching Venom 2 then they have seen Venom 1 and they are most likely people who know about Venom as a character. It's a parasite that works differently in these movies. We can clearly see trough both movies that these symbiotes have different opinions from their hosts. Also I don't understand why you are saying "maybe a jab a eddie". It's Venom taking a jab at Carnage and his host. There is no "fun fact". The viewers can see what is happening on their screens... A fun fact is something like Eddie's outfit in the movie referencing Eddie Murphy from Beverly Hills Cop movie because outfits are pretty much identical.

I like the details of the transformations between carnge and venom. Venom and eddie switching is so much smoother and pretty painless to look at showing how well they are connected. But with carnge and cletus its so much more violent to look at and it seems like carnge is fighting to take control. Showing how they aren't working that well togather.

Loved the awesomeness in this fight scene, but the first one in my opinion was better, it had more action ending off the fight with a big explosion and it was more of a 1v1 fight. Makes me think who would win in a fight though between Riot or Carnage, their both very strong symbiotes.
