Alot of these kids want to be rich and famous or something from the games tbh or they just have that teenage angst lol, ppl online are toxic because they aren't held accountable for their behavior due to anonymity...it's sad that some aspects of gaming can be ruined by others for instance I have everybody muted on cod just because of the chance somebody may say something that gets a rise out of me and causes a back and forth that kills my vibe (it's more likely somebody will be toxic on the mic than be nice or funny with banter) I just can't be bothered to talk to random teenagers on the microphone so me playing ranked modes isn't as likely as me just jumping into some random public games for fun and not taking it too seriously (despite me being a somewhat sweaty player) I think knowing it's just a game and doesn't matter that much is super important to keep in mind because if everybody is super competitive, the playerbase dies off because even competitive games require a large casual base to survive and thrive
