Research has found out that napping could help slowing ageing. That’s why Asian looks much younger than White peoples.
@gizdonk
@gizdonk 6 жыл бұрын
no Sleeping a full night to ensure proper REM is by far the most healthy way of living over disjointed sleeping panels. White people tend to age quicker because their skin evolved for extremely low sunlight, yet in the new world they live in high sunlight environments. This causes premature ageing. It is an environmental factor, not a biological or sleep caused.

Taichi is quite right. The working environment is much more lay back in other tech companies in China like Tencent, Netease and Didi. You do expect to work overtime in those companies, but not like 12 hours x 6 days a week at Huawei. In general, Huawei wouldn't want to hire you for entry level positions if you grew up in a well off family. They consider you are less likely to be able to 吃苦 (working hard and OK with terrible benefits), and prefer students from lower-middle class who are naiver and easier to be exploited. Senior level positions are a another story, though.

They literally collects talents all over the world. If you have some sort of specialties,you're in. But it's a super competitive company, every employee is a shareholder, everybody is trying to climb to the top, make sure you are a wolf before you apply for the job.

The end of time well currently I'm in Princeton. I don't think Huawei comes here for placement. Only American companies. Last year I did an internship in soft bank, in Tokyo and it was freaking AWESOME!! Asian companies are way better than ours.

They do hire graduates from US institutions. I had contacts with their recruiters a couple times in the past. I am Chinese BTW.. They don't attend career fairs usually, but host their own events in cities with large or top schools. Their pay isn't great comparing to other Chinese giants like Alibaba or Tencent and they are also notorious for ridiculous long working hours. Many employees are on 9-9-6 schedule. 9 AM to 9 PM for six days a week. That's part of the reason why they need a nap after lunch. You don't always have that shit load of work to do. It's just no one dare to leave before their director/manager leave. You will be given special attentions if you don't work that many hours and will not receive the full annually bonus (usually 30% to 100% of your annual salary). Again, it's not a bad place to work if you have the passion, but the compensations and benefits are not comparable to Silicon Valley companies.

True story here in China. I use my iPhone max to shoot video in class , and I was laughed at by my students for the poor picture quality it offers. Students alk use HUAWEI P30 for better and speedy function.

Looks more fun working for Huawei than it is working for Foxconn building iPhones for Apple because Apple wants to save every penny building iPhones but pricing their stuff like crazy. Meanwhile, Huawei treats their people a lot better and sells their phones at much lower prices.

In the 17 and 18 hundreds through the Spanish conquista of America they created this complexes called "haciendas" which they used to make essential goods such as sugar and what not, the haciendas while some were slave labor some were not, they used their own coinsand created stores to buy essentials, like in this video they created an ecosystem for their employees or (slaves) to work and live. While here they have the "freedom" of going anywhere I don't know why I feel that they are really similar in concept

Patrick De regil you would find all these facilities in the new Apple park, do you think the people in the Apple park all slaves?
@JIROHirokawa
@JIROHirokawa 6 жыл бұрын
Yes, people who used to own slaves did this because they wanted to provide for the necessities of their slaves. Slavery has a bad shade right now but back then it was legal and a lot of slave owners treated their slaves well. If this has copied anything from the system of slavery, I say, its the good part.

Same with Foxconn city, Samsung city in Suwon, Hyundai Heavy industry city in Busan, many more, it's the same. Creating a community for themselves so employees who lived there don't need to leave outside the compound to get basic needs or even entertainment, because the company provide everything, even their own theme park and schools.
