The Constitution can be amended. We now have the technology to get an accurate count in federal elections. I'm glad prayer and Pledge of Allegiance are not in schools anymore. I got in a lot of trouble at school for not participating in either. It wasn't that I didn't believe in God or didn't like the country, just that I believed forcing participation was against the First Amendment. My views on this issue only became stronger after I joined the military and got to see tyranny in action when I deployed to Afghanistan. Taliban ruled villages were heavily oppressed and I don't want that shit here.
