Lovely video, thanks. About 20 years ago I used to regularly holiday in Horsehouse as a base for the Dales. Many an evening spent in the Thwaite Arms. Only thinking the other day I ought to get back soon and your video pops up on my feed. Always loved the way Coverdale welcomes you in nice and gently and then gradually tests your driving/riding skills over to Kettlewell! The video didn't quite get to the bends/gradients I remember.

Great area to explore up there. I've just happened across your channel and subbed on the strength of this video. I like the style of commentary, in particular the geological references. Being a lifelong climber & sometime caver I have a passing interest. Cheers. 👍

i did a this route from lofthouse, ellingstring, east witton, down a narrow lane, then horsehouses onto kettlewell last friday, it's always a fav part of the world and nice to see it recorded, thanks

try take it in as part of a loop that takes you from pateley bridge through lofthouse and over the top towards masham, you get two not dissimilar roads for the price of one. GL

Better on a push bike a great descent down to kettlewell if i get back England I'll be doing that one again, thanks for making me homesick, Aussie Alan
