Happy April, fairy friends!
Today's video is another spring filled day ✨ I wanted to share with you some things I like to do at the beginning of each season to be inspired & become more present in the current season I am in! I redecorate my gallery wall in the art studio with Spring inspired art, I create a Spring mood-board and bucket-list, do some Spring baking & finally share with you some more of my children's book collection! In this great big world it is so nice to see people with the same interests as you ❤ how refreshing to see someone else love illustrations in children's books ! I have always been an avid reader from a young age,and have always loved children's books , the artist are so gifted , I even have a few from childhood , I cherish ,I always include seasonal books when decorating for the seasons ,and especially Spring as it is my favorite season of all ( as I'm a huge Gardener and I'm always waiting for all my flowers to grow and bloom ❤) my son is older now and there is one thing I can't part with all those wonderful books ! Some wonderful dresses and books - I cannot decide on a favourite dress but the Freyas Hartas book is definitely also in my top 10 children books! Perfect for spring 🌷✨ I have started on my spring checklist and going to start off this weekend with: 1. Bake lemon and poppyseed muffins 2. Go to the beach and watch out for the terns and puffins returning to the UK 3. Read outside on the garden bench 4. Start working on the monthly art prompt … and will add to the list as April continues 😉

The pen drawings at 6:40 remind me of the Voynich Manuscript. I think my favorite children's author is Richard Scarry. His stories and illustrations are so perfect. For illustrations, of course Tasha Tudor. And Holly Hobbie, her work is so beautiful.

Ahhh what a great flower arrangement, seriously. Watching you draw is relaxing. Great clothes & companies (and I love linen). I love these books. I am going to have my third baby soon and my other two are teens ( have always read to them) and I am sure they would love to read these to their baby brother in time even. I have added a few to my list of books to find at the library in the future. I have never read any of these!!
