Power wise, he’s the weakest. He makes up for in cunning and being the Tzeentch of Warcraft.

@@IrishBiteGirl Based on the lore of the games. he was clear on that in the start of the faction leader video. a lot of Tyrande and Malf's power in lore happened in The War of The Ancients and 10k prior to Warcraft, let alone World of Warcraft which the video was based on.

Yes but that’s more context than actual power. Power wise, he’s probably about the same level as Azshara, and could have been 10 on this list. He’s got nothing on the Old Gods or Deathwing or the Titans and Titan Keepers.

@@nevermore7285 Also, even thought the players were still super powered psycohpaths, they were no where near as strong as they were in BFA. Players have gotten way stronger over the expansion as their stories have continued. Also, Azshara was powered down compared to her original lore self in the game. This chick was at the middle of the damn sundering and was able to resist the explosion with her magic alone. Not just saving her, but her followers as well. And she held her barrier for a long damn time, long enough for N'Zoth to penetrate her mind. By the time we face her, it's like Blizzard realized how powerful she actually should have been and decided to scale her down. So I don't think LK could hold a candle to the most powerful mage to have existed before the guardians. I honestly believe Azshara should be on the list instead of Al'Akir.

@@stevenmtaylor21 2 years late for talk but let me counter the point: In lore (WC2+WC3+TFT) aka pre-retcons he was post fusion literally at a level to solo the legion if need be. Frostmourne, Plate and Helm were made from the powers of the universes most powerful artifacts (including that of Sargy himself). Frostmourne when killed on successful hit (including demons) with with the magic of the strongest necro and top 5-10 shamans+warlocks along with demonic psionic/mental powers that are continent wide, only now no longer stuck in TN ice unable to move/having to do everything via proxies. He quite literally ascended to divinity during the "now we are one" line. Blizz retconning the aspects roles, how demons work, legion in general, forgotten ones+old gods and LK (including his prior bits in terms of Arthas and poor Nerzhul) during WOTLK doesnt change that in canon proper (since death of the author deligates all of WOW to effectively glorified fanfiction/you cant change context of something that was already released by saying after the fact uhm aktschually we intended it this way) he would be at worst number 3 on the list (titans still take the cake but much like pre retcon aspects the fact he technically wielded a massive chunk of the power Sargy lost reforged to create the initial artifacts of real necromancy rather than just soul manipulation).

Closest thing we have to Sargeras as a raid boss is the Fallen Avatar from the Tomb of Sargeras. I’m surprised he wasn’t on the list at all.

Shadowlands was full of retcons so I doubt it. The Jailer could arguably be on the list since before the release of Shadowlands Blizzard said he has “titan ++ power”, but Blizzard wrote him so poorly that people would rather forget about him. Also we barely know much about the Dragonflight raid bosses to know for sure of any of them would make it on the list.

G’Huun was an Old God, a artificial and very weak one, but still an Old God and could corrupt the entire planet like the rest of them. That would not have gone well for Deathwing.

@Azahel 452 Eh, I would put them around the same level tbh. A lot of people would go in that last slot at almost equal power imo. Archimonde, Azshara, Lich King etc. So I agree, LK isn't 'stronger', but I don't think he's vastly weaker where I would put one over the other. I just chose LK as the 10th name rep.

Arthas proceeded to kick Illidan's ass before he even became LK. We also know that Demon corpses can be brought back to undeath due to Mannaroth in HFC.
