@user-dh6bj2me5p and I agree with you about the obesity epidemic in our country. However, in my experience, most of the folks that are obese are constantly shoving junk food in their mouth while drinking carbonated sugar water. And by constantly, I mean while they are driving and working (a lot of them are spending food stamps and not working) as well as when they are home relaxing. And then they do their darndest to normalize being obese. I was 40-50 lbs overweight myself, but with some determination and self discipline I was able to get back to my high school weight and size by working out and stabilizing my diet. There is not one person that needs soda or ice cream or cake, and eating processed foods like McDonald's and Burger King or even TV dinners is the best way to ruin your physical health. I have and always will say, folks using food stamps (or whatever tax payer provided assistance) should NOT be allowed to buy all the junk (cookies, soda etc.) With those funds. In my opinion, if you are fat, it's your own fault, and I can say that because I lived it myself.

@@mitchkinney7662 well said. I started to become obese in my late teens. It took awhile but I learned awareness and over a period of 4 years, or so, modified my habits and slowly lost 60 pounds. It's an effort but it has been a lifelong benefit.
