The French 500 Series were OK, however one of the syncromesh transmissions gave problems. I can't remember off hand, but if l checked, l could identify which one. It was the syncro hubs. They did a service upgrade on them. Also the grey paint the Beauvais factory used was not Stoneleigh Grey.

Nice to meet you today at the tractor show, just incase you mist it, the 1200 sold for £6,800. Didn't think that was to bad a price. 👍

Can't wait to see the rest of the restoration on the flexi cab Massey! 🤩. How were the cab support beams under the wings? It looks in unbelievable condition for a ~50yr old tractor. Love 135s❤

You can see the 3 church spires on the side of the gearbox casing, think its some 3 churches around Coventry where it was cast.

It's great to see all the massey ferguson. What's your view on the 500 series of massey ferguson. Are the tractors that were built in France a bad model.
