Hi Bobby! Thanks! 😀Yes, I'm very proud of that Mossie, all things considered. I've now graduated to the airbrush, but still enjoy painting by hand sometimes. Matchbox made great little kits, and some awesome diorama packs, too. Revell still markets some of them, so if you see a 1/76 Diorama kit from them, it's MB moulds... Alas, supply of MB kits is almost completely controlled, hoarded and jealously guarded in the loft of a diabolical mastermind somewhere in Cheshire... 😝Thanks for watching! 😀

@@stevesmodelbuilds5473 yes I still mix it up a bit with the airbrush and the paintbrush! (No pun intended!) I'm not confident with the airbrush yet. Ah yes, the diabolical despot that is Sir Peter of Oxley! 🤣🤣 He's made me second guess my vintage buys and builds! I'm hooked on the nostalgia of building kits as a kid. Happier times. I just got back into the hobby in August, 2023 after 45 years -- and a major heart attack -- and I've been pleased with my progress since then. I was amazed to find that, after the rust was scraped off, I remembered a lot of skills and techniques. I'm building confidence all the time, and having the time of my life. These are (mostly) great little kits and though inexpensive, they (mostly) build up nice, and you can do a lot with them. @@stevesmodelbuilds5473 If you figure out where the shock absorber goes, let me know. I have reference photos of the actual bike and the MiniArt kit - still no idea where the shock absorber goes! BTW, you haven't seen teeny-tiny till you see some of the parts in the MiniArt kit!

The Harley-Davidson WLA is only a 740cc bike, probably slightly bigger than the 650cc Harley Sportsters we rode in motorcycle safety class.
