In my spotting days these were my favourite class of locomotives . Living in North Kent I never saw many but plenty on my travels around the country . I remember cabbing quite a few at Northfleet cement works on the mgr coal from Nottinghamshire . Sometimes we had 58s and I got quite excited but very rarely ,mostly 56s which was the usual motive power . -bud the painter-

Thanks for viewing . Lots of changes have taken place at Severn tunnel junction like you said the wires have gone up a new foot bridge and a new road bridge since that video was taken .

The timber freight trains, are they run on a tight schedule to their power plant destination time wise or do they just need to get there?

Not all of it Keynsham my home town is near Bristol Lawrence hill parson street are both in Bristol . Cheltenham spa near Gloucester Severn tunnel junction in south Wales & Westbury is in Wiltshire
