I am so happy that you are talking about this. About over 3 months ago, I started to have severe panic attacks and anxiety. It was so bad that I was dreaming about anxiety. This is so right on time!! I’m moving Upstate NY from Staten Island; near my dearest friends of 50 years to the beautiful mountains in Orange County.... I have 6 grandkids here that I am very close to ... ages 3 to 15... now they are all in school and I truly believe it’s time for me to live out my retirement with my best friends and partner... it’s only 1.5 hours drive to visit the kids whenever but my younger daughter is taking it really hard, almost personal- of course it’s most likely because I have helped with her little ones for the past 5 years ... I need to be around the mountains it’s where I thrive! Very bittersweet but I know it’s time... ty so much for this

"You're not going to be in this place forever". That reminds me of a word from the Lord I got more than a year ago. Right when my life fell apart. I'm still in that place and I keep telling myself I'll be out soon. It's just very hard. I could use prayers. And it's been a very long time since I've come to this channel or left a comment, because I've been stuck in this depression. I guess I didn't know what to say. But maybe hearing that message again was the reason I came back. I hope so. 🙏

To make a long story short, I was once hospitalized for clinical depression, I know 1st hand what you are detailing, and worse . One day in the hospital I prayed, Lord, I wish I could worship you again, in that state I could not feel His presence. I picked up a Christian book thereafter and the 1st page I opened to had a scripture verse: “I’ll never leave you, I’ll never forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 As I read it , I was supernaturally healed. I was pulled out of extreme darkness into His glorious life giving force. Never give up hope!!! I have been healed and victorious for many years now and I never thought I would recover. But I did, by His grace! Not by any merit, simply by His amazing grace. And I prayed 2 people into His Kingdom who were hospitalized with me😊. God is good! I will pray for your continued healing and for your audience who may be battling depression. You’re a blessing! Thank you for uplifting messages 🙏♥️

Yes. I have been sick since 2004 with at least 3 life threatening illnesses, Carolis, Breast Cancer, and Sepsis. In between fibromyalgia, anterior cervical discectomy, blood hemorrhaging, it’s seems endless. I did have a very difficult childhood. Thank you Chynna for your beautiful connection to God, Jesus, and the holy spirit. I have been suffering for so long. God bless you Chynna.

This is great advice. My 39 year old daughter just helped me gain perspective about a terrible depression. It’s a season of life. Seasons change. We are stepping through life and it’s seasons. I’m 61 so my body has changed so much, my relationships have changed and change is hard. She tells me to just sit with my season; don’t resist. A new season will come.

Thank you Chynna for sharing your experience on clinical depression. I was hospitalized for it and no treatment or doctor could help me. Than one day I read the Bible verse, “I’ll never leave you, I’ll never forsake you,” Hebrews 13:5 and I was instantly healed. That was 8 years ago. No medications, healed and whole! What the Lord did for me He can do for all His children who will cry out to Him and trust Him, come what may. Healing may not come right away, but never loose hope! I was in bad shape for months but I was eventually healed. Thank you for your beautiful transparent heart, and for such a blessed message. This video spoke so much to me that I'm going to watch it again, at least once if not more. I relate to the chaos and the jittery lack of scheduling and steadiness. I've also had a very difficult year and a half and I think it's possible to lose our centre and our true connection to God quite severely when that happens. Thankyou for sharing your journey. This is wonderful, Chynna. Every time I’ve moved it has been a hard won journey taking me to a monumentally better place. The only exception was the time I tried to go back home and found it was no longer my home. The greatest of luck to you and your family!

What a spiritual battle I have been in for the last 4 or 5 years! Some things hit physically, then family situations, then deaths. I am trying hard to rely on the Lord and his Word to bring me out of depression. I realized recently that's what has been going on for a long time. I just love you Chynna, and your love for Jesus. Happy for you and that you are in a good place, Chynna. God guides us always. I am always asking the Lord for clarity. I'm just so grateful to be done with a very hard 7-year season. I still have no idea what is next and feel a bit lost. But I may need to just chill for a while and be okay without having to do, do, do. God writes our story. He uses the messes, the u-turns, the prep seasons, the waiting, the stepping out in faith, all of it for His glory when we trust and obey Him best we can. Even Paul learned contentment, he wasn't born with it! So we all learn contentment. It's a beautiful thing.

Jesus is with me every single moment..those days I fall down on my knees because the internal pain is too much..those times I can’t stand myself anymore..His love always comes and I see the beauty in my journey regardless of my circumstances. ✌️❤️🌎

Appreciate openness about self-harm. Prayers for those of us who experience(d) that. Prayers for new ways to get through the intense feelings…understandable action taken as it brings relief by the release of “peaceful” chemicals. However, the harm is still physical harm that’s better to stop. Can curtail it by interrupting it (i.e., putting ice down your back), pausing, praying. Reach out to a therapist. Things will get better. Love to all. ❤️

For me my mood changes when the weather gets better. I live in Western new York where it snows it seems and it is cold from about late September to almost the end of April with the weather getting better, however, I am feeling a lot better about myself. Makes me feel that maybe I should just move to a different climate. Because about five months of the year I am really down in the dumps

Wonderful! Glad you've found new direction! I agree with you about the fact that sometimes a location change IS what is needed. God did that for me, in fact he was stirring me up for change. I grew up in Wisconsin and lived there until I was 29, until God moved me from there to Arizona! It was exactly what I needed and where He wanted me to be! I'm still in Arizona, where I met my hubs, married and have 2 adult kids!

I lived in Santa Barbara for 41 years of my life, it is a paradise, and it isn’t always roses in paradise. Paradise is within, sometimes removing self, or losing all, or those you love suffering, can make you realize that simplicity is within. It’s not in a place, or your stuff, or anyone else, it’s really in the heart, that’s where God lives. I hope you find solace, you help many, you are a shiny person for the rest of us. SB isn’t going anywhere, newly wed, nearly dead will always be there, pieces of us who once called it home…

I am so glad for you, Chynna....and still praying for you. I understand PTSD. I get it by experience about anxiety and depression. And Jesus is our HOPE. We can cast all our cares on God, THE Father as it says in 1 Peter 5:7-9. I always feel like the rug will be ripped from under me, but putting all that on him every time and the next has done me so much good. And the more I experience this, the more I will have hope. Confession: I don’t follow your channel but I can relate to depression and you sound like you’ve got a handle on this. Just thought I’d share a few things that have been helping me (I’ve been a Christian for eight years, am still figuring this out, and am NO authority). 1) read the Bible in a year (You Version app, chronological reading) I’m slow, just finished 4th time 2) memorize a new Bible verse weekly (apps are helpful) 3) study the attributes of God (I used a systematic theology book, but there are probably other resources) 4) understand biblical forgiveness (John MacArthur and Tim Keller both have wonderful books) 5) “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,” -James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭ 6) RC Sproul wrote a book on suffering which was recommended and is next on my list. I hope something from this may be useful. God bless!

Oh Chynna, I'm so sorry you've been going through this. I have anxiety and mild depression because of physical, autoimmune conditions...feeling so trapped in my body that's just broken down.
