This is a really useful video. I find watercolor as intimidating as beautiful and unfortunately I have less time to practice nowadays. It has been on my to-do-list forever, usually on the top. I still need need to get around materials because a bad, cheap brush and a poor quality paper are a total nightmare to work with. Been there, done that, doesn't work, so beginners should bear this in mind. With painting the final result is not only pushing your limits and keep trying but also having good mediums to work with. Thanks a bunch for this beautiful watercolor basics video! You rock! 🙏🏻😃💓💗🖌🎨💧

I love watercolors. You can also make watercolor paintings just as vibrant as oils and acrylics, but with half the amount of tools. Your video was great for beginners, although I thought I might add that when I was in art school, using a blow dryer help the drying process, you can also lose some color, too, as it will evaporate with the water content, desaturating the colors you intended for it. So be careful with that.

If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down. - Buddha

Advice/Tip: Instead of using regular pencil for sketching, use watercolour pencils in the colours you are gonna use later.

I really wish so many creators didn't use Skillshare. They don't have non-credit card payment options. 😔
