If you want to build a simple diorama or just a pad under the model, I recommend looking at the Miniart offer. I chose a kit called Diorama with a barn. The main parts are vacuum-formed (vacuum-formed) and small extruded technologies, short-term. In the video, I will not only show construction and coloring of buildings, but also the production of some details and the creation of grassland and shrubs. I created a pad for the StuGu model, which I built the last and currently I am completing the work of the diorama with a figure produced by the companies Master Box and MiniArt.
