Filmmaker Ami Horowitz says US college protestors "look like idiots, because they are idiots," requesting sunscreen and zip ties while taking over a Columbia University campus building.
Students protesting the Israel-Hamas war in Columbia University last week put out a request for ‘humanitarian aid’ while taking over Hamilton Hall.
“I don’t think they realise there are a parody of themselves,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News Australia.
“This is what Saturday Night Live would concoct if they are trying to create some kind of self-parody of what these people are doing.
“Lack of self-awareness is incredible, and yeah they fell right into their trap - they look like a bunch of idiots because they are a bunch of idiots.”

My neighbor growing up had the numbers from concentration camps tattooed on her wrist. The hell she went through with experiments and torture is disgusting. She was the hardest working lady I knew. At like 80 something she’d grab a sheep flip it over and slit its throat then butcher it. Amazing story though she thought she her whole family had died in the camps. Well a Russian sea captain promised he’d find her family if any were alive and they hugged. Which back then meant they would keep their promise. Well I had moved out of state like 8 yrs before in like 2006. Well it was like 2014 when my mom calls me up and goes you’ll never believe what happened. She tells me the story of the Russian captain and his promise. Then tells me how he had spent like 60 freaking years after that promise looking. Like he literally promised her they hugged he left then got on a ship and they never saw each other again or talked for 60 freaking years. All he knew was her name and this guy shows up 60 f*****g years later in person without so much as a phone call and he had tracked down and found one brother and one sister. They had all thought that each other had died and this dude reunited them. I mean wtf that’s a dateline lifetime show story. Imagine if people kept their word nowadays like they did then. Sixty years dude never forgot his promise didn’t stop looking and made sure he kept that promise out of a moral code that does not exist in probably a single person on earth that is from today’s younger generations.

I went to college in the 90's. American and foreign Muslims were violent toward my husband ( Armenian American ) and me . There was one nice professor from Turkey, he was aware of the behavior and told us if we were in Turkey ,we would be dead. That's just the culture of their country. We cannot comprehend how they hate so deeply . I'm not being ignorant or racist, its how they believe life is meant to be lived. Cultures change, we changed. We don't open fire hoses on peaceful protesters anymore and the police no longer beat suspects with billy clubs. We no longer lock up our disabled in filthy asylums and women can now vote and own land. Let's hope the Middle East can grow and evolve with the rest of this world before they blow us up . Enabling the violent behavior of these protesters only reinforces their culture and keeps them from growing. Where are the Philosophy and sociology professors , why don't they have any information for their students . They must be so embarrassed.
