So great to see a 1.8 Marina for a change because I do love the rugged nature of the B Series. The Proton 1.3 GE with steel wheels and hub caps is glorious. While the Citroën GSA Spécial is pure nostalgia. I do hope that you get the opportunity to enjoy a GS or GSA Sir. I have a K12 Micra firmly on my list of potential classics to preserve.

Sir, the Proton 1.3 GE was certainly the star of the evening, although I did like the Rover Coupé and the Mark I Astra.

A great little shuffle Sir, loved the K11 Micras on display, looks like the green S model was more show than go as it would have been a 1.0.

The Astra is a delightful car, Mr Lloyd, and the Marina looks so much better as an estate than the other variants. The Sterling coupe was stunning !

We liked the 800 Coupé very much indeed, sir. Both that and the Astra were probably my favourites there.

@lloydvehicleconsulting I'm sure they would if the right car came along, but seriously, as a design, it have aged extremely well, and the last of them were virtually hand crafted cars. My only minor irritation is the 4 stud wheel hubs, but there's kits online to fix that now.

The fact that they were virtually hand built is the reason why Mr Coleman is not so keen on them....

Liked the alloys on the GSA though the Spécial should have steels being the entry level I believe

Yes, the early GEs would have had no passenger mirror.
