A Small Arch and two Great Overlooks

Күн бұрынWe were in Big South Fork to explore Gar Blevins Road. We found a small arch named Eyeball then we hiked to the North White Oak Overlook. We then drove down to the Cumberland Valley Trailhead and enjoyed the great views from the Laurel Fork Overlook.

Now those sure are some marvelous rock structures...must have been some heavy water action in that area at one time or another. Look at all that marvelous green!! Pretty amazing views!! One could hide themselves in those mountains and never be found. Awesome!!

Big South Fork was formed by a large inland sea a few million years ago

Cool arch,I really enjoyed the overlooks especially the second one with the bluffs off to your right. Very nice Kerry.

Agree that this is one of the better overlooks. East Laurel is awesome.
