I have been out and about on days just like this one and couldn't wait to come back inside. The combination of wet snow on bare skin along with the wind causes redness and a stinging irritation to develop that feel similar to a burn. Sensitivity will be experienced for a while afterwards, and one aspect of winter I very much dislike.
