One day I went over there and she was about 76 and she had just opened a package that had just came that was an ankle bracelet with huge turquoise gemstone charms all the way around and I had a fit and I said she would look ridiculous, well I made her mad that day, she didn’t like being criticized but nobody was wearing ankle bracelets especially like that. Darn, can’t find a thing really. Using the Maduff name, a Google search yields her suing a life insurance company after her husband died. Allegedly they took too long to pay out the $2 m settlement and I think she was successful in that matter. As far as the other name, can’t find a thing when I search with the Dior connection. No images found for either. Someone else in comments said that she wasn’t a socialite and that the show said it to play up the intrigue.

Yes, and at an estate sale you are going to be paying less than what things are worth. I would say if she can pay 25 to get them and then turn around and sell them all for 45 she's turning a good profit. But in reality not all of them will sell again.

Even at couture designer level something you would pay $1200 for today would have ranged about $300-$400 back in the 60s and 70s.
