Lovely delivery, dear. You are a display model for this. The target were the guns on the right, and not at the end of the valley. The adjutant, who brought the orders from the commanding Gen while pointing at the target made a mistake in a hurry and pointed at guns at the far end down the valley. Col count Cardigan, just ordered the charge. In fact the Londdon war office was blaming the the Col for not asking for correction. However the poet published the poem inthe evening edition ofthe news paper, and Col Cardigan wasn't only saved but became a hero
