The information about refrigerating your cookie dough is VERY USEFUL and very true. Another factoid to go with that is to carefully brown the butter first before creaming in the sugar. Mix as normal then refrigerate overnight. Try it.

And remember kids... Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell. Edit: Yes, I know the importance of biology in life. My aunt is a general practitioner and my uncle is a nephrologist (kidney doctor). My grandpa was a veterinarian and later an official in the FDA. The point of the joke was to highlight the fact that the overwhelming majority of schools focus more on a part of a cell than they do on economics, finance, etc. In my years of schooling so far I have spent one unit every year since the 5th grade learning about cells and I have spent maybe 2 or three weeks total learning about economics and how to manage one’s finances.
