Andrey Seledtsov from Ukhta is an example of a real fighter who approaches every fight as a battle in which he must give his all. It’s not for nothing that he served in the special-purpose reconnaissance company “Berkut”. In every battle, Andrei showed an unbending military spirit and fought to the end, even if he lost to a more eminent opponent during the fight.
In 2016, he was the only one who dared to go against the German Terminator Stefan Pütz in the M-1 Challenge. And although Seledtsov lost that fight by decision of the judges, he gained popularity among the fans with his fighting character and desire to fight to the end.
A year later, the largest Scandinavian promotion Cage was looking for an opponent for its star - Finnish fighter Saku Heikkola. He had been competing in various European promotions for more than 8 years and was in Cage itself with a record of 6 wins in 7 fights. There weren’t many people willing to fight him, but Andrei Seledtsov, as usual, was ready to accept any challenge and decided to compete outside his homeland for the first time in his career. According to the former scout, the plan for this fight was to immediately rush into an exchange of blows without any reconnaissance and constantly attack and put pressure on the opponent. The result was a very spectacular and bloody battle.
