This is one of my favorite mini arcs in the series. Anything having to do with celestial magic is so interesting! Also, a slight hint/foreshadowing to him being a celestial spirit was the zoom in on plue looking sad at Loke. This is because Plue knows that he a spirit and is sad that he is going to die

Actually, during early of the series, Lucy had so many ships since there's no canon relationship yet.. people had/ have been shipping her with Loke, Natsu, Gray and a few other guys but Loke and Natsu are the famous ones...but we know that Natsu is the perfect man for Lucy but sadly the author have been playing with us to still not making them in a relationship canonically while he makes thousands of illustrations of them together... Man i hope you could just upload those two episodes 31-32 right away.. it's so painful to wait😭 I've so many commitments right now but I'm gonna subscribe to your Patreon soon after i finish moving out to other house next month..

I mean you could always still just listen to the openings, especially when talking about previous episodes or so. They are also much better about spoilers later on, as after first few - they line-up more properly with the arcs and in many cases, the spoilers are limited to stuff like "character A fights villain B". And at that point for me it's just a matter of hyping yourself up, when we all know that fights happen... Other probably the best option - just watch old openings every episode to hype yourself up (matter of opening two tabs). This way you gonna see old plot and you still gonna get the satisfaction and time needed to fall in love with each opening (so you could keep watching opening 3 through the Tower of Heaven arc, which it mainly applies to and the arc after that (BoFT). Based mostly on knowledge from wiki and experience (so I may be off episode or two; also I made this in a compact version in other comment): Opening 3 [EP25-35] - Tower of Heaven Arc [EP33-41]. Just keep watching this one. Opening 4 [EP36-48] - "BoFT" Arc [EP41-51] I would personally start watching it from episode 46 (major revelation) or episode 48 (pretty much no more spoilers). Opening 5 [EP49-60] - Oración Seis Arc [EP52-69] Safe to watch from episode 54 (mostly mild spoilers about who may fight who). Opening 6 [EP61-72] - Oración Seis Arc [EP52-69] I would say watch from episode 65 (spoils final match up, but wouldn't consider it significant). Opening 7 [EP73-85] - Edolas Arc [EP76-95] Good to watch from episode 82. Opening 8 [EP86-98] - Edolas Arc [EP76-95] I would say mostly safe from episode 90 (some scenes are mild spoilers, that without context don't make sense). Opening 9 [EP99-111] - Tenrou Island Arc [EP96-122] This one is harder - I would say watch from episode 104, there are some scenes with mild spoilers, but they are in line of "people gonna fight in this arc". And most important stuff is established and revealed before this. Opening 10 [EP112-124] - Tenrou Island Arc [EP96-122] + "X7..." Arc [EP123-124] This one is super weird - I would say episode 119? It is important to mention, one thing is a very intended spoiler - that is supposed to make you wonder what is happening there, that is only gonna get explained right at the very end/next arc. There is also major character being shown. But I feel like the opening itself is so hype, that it's not worth waiting for it longer than this. Opening 11 [EP125-137] - Key of the Starry Sky Arc [125-150] Watch after 133? This is anime-only arc that later got referenced (canonised) in the manga. A lot of people like it and I feel like with what you have shown - you very much should enjoy it. It does have some slower parts, especially early on, though. Opening 12 [EP138-150] - Key of the Starry Sky Arc [125-150] Another weird one - I would say watch after 142, for most spoilers to be already revealed. Opening 13 [EP151-166] - GMG Arc [EP151-203] Would watch it from 158, but to be fair it has spoilers about the fights through most of it. I think 158 is saving you from spoilering one major reveal though. Maybe even like 160... Opening 14 [EP167-175] - GMG Arc [EP151-203] I would watch it from 170 for minimum spoilers (some really cool reveals and fights). Still spoils the fight from episode 175+, but it's an obvious match up. This is last opening of the original 2009 season (ends with episode 175), probably could be watched through huge chunk of first episodes of 2014 season, as it is the same arc, split in half.

In other comment I wrote it more explicitly - but my recommendation for watching the openings: Opening 3 - episodes [...-45]. (~14) Opening 4 - episodes [46-53]. (8) Opening 5 - episodes [54-64]. (11) Opening 6 - episodes [65-81]. (17) Opening 7 - episodes [82-89]. (8) Opening 8 - episodes [90-103]. (14) Opening 9 - episodes [104-118]. (15) Opening 10 - episodes [119-132]. (14) Opening 11 - episodes [133-141]. (9) Opening 12 - episodes [142-157]. (16) Opening 13 - episodes [158-170]. (13) Opening 14 - episodes [170-175]. (6+) And that's all for original 2009 anime. A lot of them overlap into next arc, so you could also skip openings then, especially for the "longer" ones. You could also just change it every 13 episodes counting from episode 32, if you're feeling lazy. Most of them still will have mild spoilers, some even if you watch during the last episode of theirs.

Have it not been cute girl - people would hate this. 6:00 Tbh, world itself is good at making creepy dudes. Especially in Japan and especially back then? Would never go there alone. I just recently read about how Gyaru/Ganguro subculture evolved in 90s/00s and how misjudged reports from newspapers, saying that those girls are selling themselves - actually made/inspired creepy old men to harass those girls (some still in school), asking how much they take. Which fortunately inspired even further extremes in fashion and harsh and aggressive behaviour from those girls - to outweird the creeps (which actually worked). 9:08 Love the shot of Plue - because it even further alludes to the final reveal about Loke. As celestial spirit like Plue would fully know someone like Loke and would probably also know the context behind his tragedy.
