Hey Craig, congrats on 600! Best line I heard on YT all week; "You know how they are, they buy you a beard-trimmer or whatever." Some great pickups! I have never owned 'Thriller.' Thanks for the shout out!

Lots of different genres added. 600 is nothing to sneeze at! Be careful pretty soon you'll be running out of room 😀. Nice Father's Day choices. Greg

Almost out of room with the storage I have, looks like I'm going to have to buy some kallax

Hi Craig! 600! I hover around a thousand due to space. I do what’s become an annual purge of the collection. I love the first three Blondie albums. B52s Wild Planet is a party record! Enjoy it! “I need to get me some Hall & Oates” 😅 That Roxy Music album is a good one. Try some Bryan Ferry solo stuff too. I only have Into The Gap from Thompson Twins from my 89s high school days!

Yeah that early Blondie is killer stuff, the Hall & Oates was a fun listen, flashed me back to grade school.

Oh man those are actually all really good additions imho Craig. I may be somewhat biased now that I have a complete vinyl head mentality, but many albums I have that I had only previously heard on cd or streaming sound so much better on vinyl. Of course that is subjective to sooo many factors, but like you I am not an audiophile and on my modest system they are killer! Anyway. Incredible fathers day indeed lol! Enjoy the spinning bro. Hope to catch you guys on Sunday. Cheers bud! 🍻✌️🤘🎶🤘

Vinyl is by far the superior medium, to me it makes music an experience.

Ohhh... Godsmack. Don't see that too much in the vc. As a young guy, that takes me back to my University school days. Voodoo (from the self titled album) was getting plays in the clubs, bars and strip clubs all the time. Pretty cool stuff here as I like most of the bands you've featured here. Well done Craig. Cheers, Darryl.

thank you, that Godsmack was 1st time on vinyl besides a picture disk in '07 so probably not many out there yet

Love the Iommi picture behind you. Absolutely love "Sacred Heart"! Dio's first four records are must haves. I just spit beer 😅! I received my second beard trimmer in 10 years. She claims she doesn't know what to get. I tell her to go into the punk or metal section, find an album that has a skull, zombie, tank or scantily clad woman on the cover and I'll probably like it. I can't do Halloween without listening to "Thriller" at least once. Nice vinyl haul! Cheers!

The Iommi pic was a Christmas gift last year from my wife so she hasn't done to bad recently😆

Salut Craig. I have more than 2000 records. I stopped to count them...
@TheSpiritofVinylАй бұрын
I doubt I'll ever have that many, but if you asked me 3 years ago I never would have guessed I'd have 600😀
@franciskocher200Ай бұрын
@@TheSpiritofVinyl I'm collecting records since 1980 (hard-rock and métal). I only buy records from the 70's and the 80's.
