I sincerely hope Elvis sees this video. It doesn't matter what was said. It was inappropriate and disgusting.

I'm a cbj season ticket holder I was at the game. Thanks for doing this it shows a lot of class on your part. Elvis is a pretty cool guy I know he will see this. Good luck to the stars this season.

Blue Jackets fan here, thank you for taking time out of your busy routine to make this video. Too many nasty people in this world and they shouldn't feel like humiliating an entire sports team's fan base with a comment like that. Trash talking is common in sports but if it involves a tragedy, that's an all time low. Again, thank you for the apology and I hope the Stars become the successful in their division and the season itself. #CBJ

Appreciate the Stars comment, but it doesn't look like they're gonna pull themselves out of the basement this season. lol

I'm a die hard cbj fan, and us cbj fans accept your apology compleatly. It was really well worded and I believe Elvis has definitely seen this video. However the only people who should apologize is the guy that said that. He isn't a true stars fan whatsoever. I've met quite a few stars fans and like you, they are good genuine people. That guy was not. This video was amazing and this comment is really late but definitely the video that made me subscribe to you.

Don't you worry! I'm from Latvia! Dallas had some Latvian players to who ended up in tragedy like Kārlis Skrastiņš 😔

Columbus native and CBJ fan here. Very classy of you to offer this out here. Elvis is not only a very talented young goalie, but an amazing person. Nobody deserves classless hooligans like that, especially someone like Elvis who lived through that tragedy. And to address the Dallas fan base… I wouldn’t worry about that. I’ve never had issues with hockey fan bases outside of the Red Wings, Penguins and the Flyers.

Why Red Wing fans?

@@ChrisBrown-pz2gu Why not? They have rude, drunk, obnoxious fans. Especially at away games.

As a CBJ part-season ticket holder, I'd like to say we never miss the Stars game...we really enjoy watching Dallas play and have always found the fan base respectful and fun. This singular incident just shows that there is always one....somebody that has to be "that guy". The out-pouring from true Dallas fans, like this one from you, has gone a long way to help. Thanks for being a bright light in a world that has more than its share of ugly.

Yea that’s just sad that someone would do that it’s just a game at the end of the day we play/watch for fun genuinely feel bad for him

He died as a hero, Kivlenieks blocked the firework from hitting his friend and his friend’s pregnant wife… he saved a family. now to go on and say something very offensive about someone who gave up his life to save 3 others is just sickening, there is special place and lots of karma in hell for people like that Stars fan.

I'd sure love to see that Dallas "fan" severely beaten up! That's totally DISGUSTING!!! Matīss was our hope for the future of Latvian hockey he would've been able to be as good as Elvis Merzļikins or even better and 4th of July in Latvia will now unfortunately be a day of mourning of a person and a goalie that was Matīss Kivlenieks!
