Avs looked good last night, especially on special teams. I don't expect them to be able to do this two more times in a row.

Absolutely agree that you don't want to let the Avs catch a breath. Jump on them fast, just like in every other game this series, and smother them just like the last two games. They looked hopeless last night. You want to keep them in that headspace.

Wow so the avs are trash. I knew when we heard this was are opponents that every stars fans were gonna trash the avs and not even give us a chance. We did we are first round too and quicker than they did. Your up 2-1 the series isnt over idiots.

I get this is a Dallas pod, but you guys are really bad at looking at things objectively. Benn is a hated player for a reason and it’s not something to be proud of. Guys have been suspended for less. He clearly aimed high, he clearly got high. Just because he didn’t hit the head doesn’t mean that’s a hit the league is trying to avoid. “Playing with 6 cause they can’t get any past otter” comment is so dumb 😂😂😂 they can and have shown they can score on him very easily. There were a TON of bad calls. Avs had a HORRIBLE game and almost won. Self reflect on your “bad team” comments 😂😂Very dislike able group on this pod.

Gotta give credit to avs D in the 3rd, we couldnt forcheck due to good fast outs. We had goal 1 against from a great tip and follow up and 3rd goal was tipped off our D man. It happens. Goal 2 tho was just bad blown coverage, that cant happen. This heroic comeback trend is unstustainable, even for the avs

Biggest loser has to be Heiskanen. Not because he was bad, but because apparently he's going to be worked to death this series. Huge ice time while Dallas goes 5D and it showed in his analytics. He probably prevents that breakaway if he isn't overworked.

Hintz missing the net was big...but Nichuskin also passed on 1 on 0 partial breakaway around the same point.Dallas was dominant in OT,& Giorgiev & the hockey gods saved our ass.But you guys were lucky to get to OT on balance. 3rd time this year in 3 games in Dallas...you take 3 goal lead-Avs come back & win...twice in OT.BTW-Avs were the #1 best comeback & multi goal comeback team this season. And highest scoring regular season team,& playoffs so far. But I dont expect to keep hanging 4,5,or 6 goals every game this series. Its o ly 1 game,& I expect this to be a long 6 or 7 game series. But the Stars going 7 vs Vegas,& only playing 5 dmen is just not smart. Thats why Heskonen got lit up in 2nd half of this game-he was exhausted. And I hear ya on the penalties Dallas took in the 2nd...but you dont get your 3-0 lead without the Avs taking even more penalties in the 1st. 1 of Rantanens penalties just completely lazy,& undisciplined...& Wood makes up for his penalty. Its only a great start for us-thats it...25% of what we need. You guys only had 16 shots through regulation keep in mind.

The stars put up a great effort but the avs were kind of testing them out it seemed. Even up 3-0 you can tell the avs were very calm and you could not even tell they were down. Once they got their legs going in the 2nd they didnt stop. The pk killed the stars ultimately, and as expected the avs are just so relentless. A lucky break (literally broken stick leading to 5 on 3) and poor special team play led to this loss and considering the stars are the least penalized team in the league that could come into our favor if we keep makar rantanen and mackinnon off the pp. There are things to like about the stars playing, for examples the faceoffs are going to be huge if the stars can use it to their advantage. They still got a ton of work to do but I still have confidence this series is far from over. btw when is the last time the stars game 1 of their series? it feels like it has been ages. Went into this game fully expecting an ot loss, im just used to it at this point

one thing to consider - Vegas blocks a lot of shots, Pavs at this point in his career is a tip artist but still a solid defensive player. When half of our shots are being blocked, theres not gonna be many tips. I think it's just a matter of Joe's kind of chances just rarely happen against Vegas, but defensively, he played solid

Wyatt has always been good in front of the net, tips, rebounds, etc. That skillset didn’t just reveal itself in the playoffs.

Great optimism. This was an elimination game ... biggest game of the season, the team and coaches blew it. Cassidy made adjustments, and vegas looks like they finally got out of the funk they were in. Aidin hill another shutout against this team is a big momentum swing. The stars are royally fked

2 soft penalties to dallas in period 1. 1 soft one called on vegas in 1st. They missed a trip on dallas in the 1st. What a rollercoaster of officiating. Glad we still came out on top, especially after seguins "hit to the head" penalty. You summed that up well on the bull that took place. Was a big pk kill on that one.

Glad the Stars are showing some grit. Can't get comfortable with a team like Vegas. Facing them and potentially the Avalanche will be a tough fight for the Stanley Cup. Everyone needs to show up. It's so strange that players that were on fire in the regular season just seem to vanish in the playoffs, and I'll never understand it. Hopeful that the Stars will pull it off, but they have to be synergized and hungry. If you want to make it, you have to want it.
