Love the Serbian Prayer. That piece has been in my stash for several years, but your finish is the first I have seen. Very nice. I like the colors and design in the canvas work as well. And by the way, your nails look great!

Oh! I just found your pattern on their website and see that they have instructions for both 24ct and 18ct. That makes it easy! 😁

I have never heard of canvas work before but it is very beautiful. I would have thought with it being speciality stitches, it would be slower than cross stitch, but you have nearly finished it. Also loved your finish too. ❤️😍😊

actually i find it usually goes a lot faster, i think it's because you cover a lot more cloth with one speciality stitch than with one cross stitch :)

Ingeborg I love that proverb piece...I haven’t seen it before. The sentiment is wonderful and stitched up it’s very pretty. I haven’t done any canvas work but I love seeing it. It looks very challenging and the colors are beautiful. Blessings, Marlene

Interessant Ingeborg, ik ben niet bekend met canvas work of congres cloth. Het ziet er mooi uit, weer iets om te ontdekken, net als de kunstenaar die je noemde, dank voor de inspiratie en alvast een fijne verjaardag!

You just sent me down a rabbit hole by showing your canvas piece! I don’t know that I’d heard of that designer before, so now I must choose my favorite. 😄 Is your Congress cloth 24ct? If so, how do you adjust the pattern and thread thicknesses if it’s intended for 18ct mono canvas?
