@@Ihatedayslikethis1 she actually threw a punch! No bricks were thrown! I’ve spoken to Fred Sargent about this, a living stonewall vet, and he’s long said nobody threw bricks, they only threw shot glasses. Storme did however three the first punch!

I would love to speak with you regarding honoring Stormé by opening the first LGBTQ community & housing ctr in New Rochelle NY. She was an amazing person to know. Loved by many. I would like to name the center after her. We are working on a fundraiser. The building which belonged to my parents has to be torn down, a new and larger one built that is up to code. If anyone would like to help us please contact Cia4ga@gmail.com or donate to givebutter.com/NRLGBTQ/team-cia-theresa

She reminds me of my mom. My mother used to keep a few suits of femme clothes so that, when femmes got kicked out by their butches, she'd have a change of clothes to give them. She went back to Baltimore 40 years later and people came up and told her that they'd never forgotten her kindness (and I can well believe it).

Im so fukking sick of you TRANSPHOBIC twats trying to erase trans people because we didn't have access to HRT and surgeries 50 or 60 years ago. These people weren't regular gays and lesbians. They were trans, and queens
@nothankyouthanksforasking3 жыл бұрын
@@keithmadden9260 So you think it's OK to tell people who and what they are despite them telling you to stop? Pretty hypocritical considering transsexuals these days can't seem to cope with that.

Storme doesn't get enough credit, but it's sad how do many people who know it only want to change it for their own selfish transphobic reasons. Storme's importance doesn't detract from others.
@alvinsmith38943 жыл бұрын
Saying the truth isn't transphobic. Marsha is a self admitted dragqueen, a gay man in drag and he wasn't there when it started. Maybe look at your peers and ask them why are you people insisting on spreading a lie and why that should be ok? Since when is lying a good thing?
