RobWilli Yes indeed. But again, considering the time, the track version of the C8 will probably be competing against the base model of the next Ferrari when the time comes. Theres a time gap in the models being rolled out by the manufacturers as they are launched in different period. Instead I think if theres a F8 Tributo to pit against the C8 Corvette, that would be a real showdown!

@@SuperXshrimp You do realize that the performance of these cars is getting pretty much to its peak. All of them. Supercars can only be squeezed up to a certain point in its performance. So I dont think the next Ferrari will too different. Only difference they're making as of late is outside, inside and engine designs. Supercars have reached their peak with manufacturers. The next level is the so called "hyper cars". But still, those too have or will be soon reaching their peaks as well. What they'll be making next? Rocket cars that'll go 0-60 in 1 sec? That would be dumb. All I'm trying to say it's that supercars can't be pushed too much further then what they are. Yes they can improve their designs, aerodynamics and whatnot but slightly. The current C8 can be improved to have the "supercar" capability. But the new Pista, can't really go much further without transforming into a hyper car. I hope you know what I mean. The 2019 Corvette ZR1 for example has supercar capabilities. Maybe its design isn't as good as the Ferrari because you got to remember they're made for track performance. The ZR1 is American and lacks that pedigree of European track performance design. With the C8 I believe they where trying to change that. We will see. The C8 is just a baby right now. I must make it clear. I'm not a fan of Corvettes but I'm just trying to be fair.

RobWilli the difference is almost a century of Race pedigree behind the Ferrari. The C8 had a great Launch but that’s about it. We all knew the end result here, Jake should of challenged the AMG, that would of been a closer race.
