I don't have any steam engines nor do I plan to get any , my "workshop" is half the dining table when I have the time. But i really enjoy watching them and you working on them and describing what is going on. That combined with your humour has resulted in me wasting a lot of time watching and some lightly soiled undergarments. I did acquire a very abused mamod stationary engine when I was much younger and before online auction sites were a thing, but due to some incidents some described as arson I was not allowed to play with it.

One can convey so much with sign language.

Have you ever had the vision where your workshop was inundated with engines, boilers, and boats? All staked up to the ceiling and all were saying "FIIIIX MEEEEEE!!!!" Hay your the one that implied you are having visions. :-) And then I regret not watching the whole video, before commenting. I really thought you had gone over the deep end and was waiting for the men in the white coats. Pretty funny Keith.

I am currently out of the workshop and re doing the tiles on the house OK We live in Tilehurst!!! A Neighbor walks past and he asks "If I had an Angle Grinder?" "I have 3!" was my reply. Well I am going to use the other 2 for angle drives on another project! The main one was from Tesco!!! I got a Black Five in bits mostly castings (From the internet) which for the price of the boiler came with a completed tender. 101 uses for a 5 inch gauge tender in and around the house? No the boiler will not cook noodles!!! David and a very understanding Lily.

I built a bike and had it titled as a moped about 300 us dollars total for the title registration and tags but i put a small steam engine in it the gas tank is split one side is pump gas and the other side is water its very simple the gas and water gravity feed from the tanks to the boiler the throttle is just connected to a valve in the line between the engine and boiler and the rest of the controls are on the handle bars The point of my comment was these are very good engines and a combination of my steam bike and my other scrap metal bike have been taking me to work everyday for 6 years without a problem Why don't more people actually use these engines for something ?
